Delete Your Account

• Your request reaches the Muhasba team immediately.
• We confirm the request came from the account holder; we may ask one question to check.
• The account and the data listed below are removed from our active systems within 30 days, and from encrypted backups within 90 days.
• We email you to confirm when it is done.

Your account and sign-in, your display name and email, your sect, language and other preferences, your location and prayer-time settings, every deed log and reflection, custom and hidden deeds, Qaza counts, streaks, quiz answers, points balance and ledger, notification settings and push registrations, feedback you sent, and the delivery details on any shop orders.

A question you asked that was published to the Masail knowledge base stays published, since it was already anonymised. Aggregate statistics (for example, how many people marked a deed on a given day) do not identify you and are not changed.

One line in our administrative audit log, noting that an account was deleted, when it was requested and when it was done. It does not contain your reflections or profile.

• Deletion is permanent. Your points, diamonds, streaks and leaderboard rank are lost.
• Rejoining means signing up again from scratch; nothing is restored.
• A shop order that has not been delivered yet should be settled or cancelled first, because its delivery details are deleted with the account.

You do not have to delete anything to stop the app reaching you. Settings → Notifications turns off every channel, and signing out clears the local cache while leaving your account untouched.
