A POS built for how Pakistani shops actually run
Offline-first, always
Every sale, stock change and payment writes to a local database on the device instantly and syncs when internet returns. No spinner at the counter, no lost data, and no dependence on the shop's connection. It is the reason the browser version was retired: a browser cannot do this.
Speaks the shopkeeper's language
English, Roman Urdu and Urdu (Nastaliq, right-to-left), switchable live from the menu. The whole app re-renders in the chosen language, so a salesperson can work in the script they are most comfortable with.

Credit is how Pakistani shops actually run. BabulPOS tracks customer udhari (full / half / custom upfront) with per-customer ledgers and credit limits, plus vendor payables with receivings, ledgers, and payments allocated oldest-first.

Questions About BabulPOS
Yes. Every sale, stock change and payment is written to a local database on the device instantly, so checkout never waits on the network. When the connection returns, everything syncs to the cloud automatically in the background. You can run a full day of sales offline without losing anything.
Yes, and it is not a trial. The Free plan gives you unlimited sales and receipts, your product catalogue and the udhari ledger, with no time limit and no card required. Paid plans add reports, customer management, morning rates, and vendor and inventory management.
Android phones and tablets, and Windows PCs. Both are installed directly from us, so no Play Store is needed, and both update themselves with a one-tap prompt when a new version is out. The browser version was retired in September 2026 because a browser cannot keep a shop selling when the internet drops, which is the whole point of the product.
Eight: kiryana store, general store, restaurant, bakery, pharmacy, clothing shop, wholesaler, and "other" (where you describe what you sell in your own words). You pick at signup and BabulPOS seeds a starter catalogue for your type and shows only the features your shop needs.
At checkout you can take a sale on udhari with a full, half or custom upfront amount. Each customer has a ledger of credit sales and repayments, and you can set credit limits, with a ringing alert to the owner when a customer goes over. Recording a repayment later takes a couple of taps.
Yes. BabulPOS has two roles: Owner (full access) and Salesperson, who only sees the sale screens, with no reports, stock or settings. Those limits are enforced in the database rather than merely hidden in the app. You can disable a staff account at any time and it is locked out on every device, and the owner is notified whenever a salesperson signs in.
English, Roman Urdu and Urdu in Nastaliq script with right-to-left layout. You can switch live from the More menu and the entire app re-renders in the chosen language.
No other shop can see it. Every record carries the shop it belongs to and the database itself refuses to return another shop's rows, so a bug in the app cannot expose your books. Your data lives both on your device and in the cloud, so a lost or broken device does not mean lost records. Crash reports have CNIC numbers, phone numbers and email addresses stripped out before they leave the device.
Yes to both. Sales history exports to CSV from Reports on the plans that include it, and you can ask us for a full copy at any time. You can also delete your shop and everything in it from Settings or by emailing us; the account deletion page explains exactly what is removed and what is kept.
